Apprenticeship with Maya Krishna Rao

My first and hopefully last experience of the National School Of Drama in New Delhi, started with an apprenticeship with Maya Rao. She took me in as a helper for her show Lady Macbeth Revisited. (Later I did assist her on another Comedy show performed for a private gathering, I don’t have any photos to prove it though). In this short time, I gained a keen interest in video’s relationship with theatre, and Maya’s experimental ways of theatre brought me closer to imaginations and ideas that I hadn’t experienced before. Maya’s guidance has taught me many a truths about the Theatre world of New Delhi. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her kindness and warmth.
